PREALGEBRA FOUNDATION

Prealgebra

Build prealgebra and geometry foundations through multi-step word problems, fractions, number patterns, measurement, organized written work, and an introduction to competition-style reasoning.

Good fit

Designed for students in grades 4–8 who are ready to build or strengthen prealgebra foundations, including younger students ready for added challenge and older students reviewing key skills before algebra.

Getting started and learning focus

A helpful starting point

Some experience with whole-number addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is helpful. No previous prealgebra course is needed. Students build their understanding of fractions, word problems, and problem-solving strategies in class. We can help you decide whether this is a good starting point for your child.

Introduction to Algebra

Build the bridge from prealgebra into equations, expressions, number structure, algebraic problem solving, and introductory coordinate geometry.

Designed for students in grades 5–10 who have some prealgebra readiness and want to begin algebra foundations or review key skills before moving into deeper algebra.

A helpful starting point

Familiarity with basic arithmetic, fractions, and decimals is helpful. No previous algebra course is needed. Students learn how to work with expressions, equations, and algebraic problems in class. We can help you decide whether this class or Prealgebra is the better starting point.

Scratch Coding Level 1

Small groups now forming

Grade 1–4 Math Classes

Teacher-led lessons with clear explanations, visual models, worked examples, and take-home practice that students can bring back for review. Lessons draw on number-sense and problem-solving approaches used in Singapore and Chinese mathematics. Each grade forms its own class with at least 4 students.

Tuition: $380 for 10 weeks
Frequency: One lesson each week
Class length: 90 minutes, including a short break
Schedule: Confirmed with each group · Eastern Time

Join the interest list for your grade. When at least 4 students can attend the same schedule, we will confirm the class dates and time before enrollment and payment.

Each class includes take-home practice based on material already taught. Students may bring questions back to the next lesson. Families may purchase Math Study Room visits for additional guided practice.
